Let's look at this in terms of an evolutionary stable strategy. At the point where the costs of being vulnerable are greater than the benefits of being vulnerable, that is when you should stop being vulnerable, and that is where the equilibrium set point will be.
...how bout i not be as elaborate as kev...and just say...being vunerable is hard...u let anybody crush, hammer, squish u...get hurt in other words...but by being vunerable...perhaps others will follow. ha...kinda bad analogy...if u can open and be vunerable to reveal urself...like in a mirror and see your real self for who you are...do you expect to see others reflection in the mirror...k, this is going downhill...i'll just leave it as is. love u for who you are my friend =)
being vulnerable is when a froshiee believes a 3rd year bio major (think that he's o so credible ahemm..) when he tells her that birds dont fart cuz they dont have the mechanism and that they cant handle pepto bismo cuz it'll make them explode!
