the manner in which God laid our iniquity on Him was that God treated Him as if He had committed every sin ever committed by every person who would ever believe, though He was perfectly innocent.
that He would arise in lowly conditions with no stately form or majesty, His true identity only visible to the discerning eye of faith.
that He must undergo inhuman cruelty to the point that He no longer looks like a human being
that He knew exactly what needed to be done to solve the sin problem
that He alone was willing to substitude His life for ours
